Before we get into why Vitamin C is amazing, and what benefits you can reap for your body and mind from making sure you get your recommended dose, we’re going to go into what Vitamin C actually is.

You might remember basic chemistry and biology classes from when you were growing up, or you might not, but in any case, a small reminder won’t do you any harm!

Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is a nutrient your body needs in order to form blood vessels, cartilage (soft bones like the ones that move in your nose), muscles, and collagen in your bones. It’s also vital to your body’s healing process.
